Harper

Harper was diagnosed with SynGAP1 May 2018, and shortly after Epilepsy. She has 2 older sisters and 1 little brother who all adore her! She is the sweetest little girl and a great sister. She is in speech, PT, occupational and music therapy. Her receptive language is almost right on target for her age but her expressive language is far behind. She has about 35 signs she uses throughout her day to communicate and also uses an AAC device at school. She loves to sing, dance, and making people smile! Harper’s biggest daily struggles with SynGAP1 are epilepsy, verbal communication, gross and fine motor delays. We are so hopeful for a cure so she can lead a life like her siblings.
