Laré

Laré was first diagnosed with severe non-verbal autism in 2002. Two years later the diagnosis of epilepsy came, the milestones were difficult to reach and she does not speak. She uses sign language, PECS, or her talker. She has severe sleep disorders and other special needs.

She loves Disney, Paw Patrol, Peppa pig, and stuffed animals.

For years I thought that she "only" has the combination of autism / epilepsy / sleep disorders. But in December 2019, when we were in an epilepsy clinic, we got the results: Syngap 1. It is a great relief to know exactly what Laré has. You can learn more about Laré by following her insta @severe_autism_princess”
