Sophia

Sophia was just diagnosed in October of 2019!  She receives OT and Speech therapy at school and we have seen a lot of improvement! Sophia loves her tablet and would spend all day on it if we allowed her. Sophia loves playing with her brother!

Sophia does have very limited speech - about 25 words. Due to her limited speech she gets very frustrated and will bang her head when misunderstood. She does suffer from “staring seizures”, which can be hard to detect. Sophia is still in diapers.

Sophia loves her parents and can be very clingy. As many kids, she has her good days and bad days. But when she has a good day she has an awesome personality that brings our family so much joy! We have learned so much from Sophia.
