Caitlin Kaspar is working in Development Operations at Syngap Research Fund. She has her MA in Nonprofit Leadership and has worked in development in the areas of performing arts, the digital divide, and cancer support. Caitlin lives in South Jersey, and also turned her childhood passion of doing gymnastics into coaching gymnastics.
Caitlin’s sister was diagnosed with SYNGAP1 in September of 2021 at the age of 28, after her doctors at CHOP convinced her family to do another genetic test. Her previous diagnosis was given at the age of 2, of epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and developmental delay. The entire family was excited to have answers when given Ashlee’s diagnosis.
