Jess and her husband, Tom, live in Hudson, OH with their three children, Graham (8), Cole (6) and Jade (2). Cole was diagnosed with SYNGAP1 in 2019 when he was two years old, just before starting preschool.
Jess graduated from Ohio University with a Bachelor's in Chemistry. After working as an analytical chemist for 8 years, including a research and development role at the Cleveland Clinic, she stepped back to care for her children. As an SRF board member and volunteer, Jess is excited to be part of a community that is committed to moving research forward to help Cole and others affected with this disease, and is looking forward to contributing as much as she can to this movement.
