Julie Miles

Julie has a B.S. degree in Finance as well as Physical Therapy. During her career, she has lived in various parts of Louisiana, Dallas, TX and most recently, South Carolina, where she is practicing in the specialty field of acute care PT. Julie and her husband Michael have three children and reside in upstate South Carolina.

Her oldest son, Miller, was diagnosed with SYNGAP1 through Whole Exome Sequencing in July of 2020. Julie and her husband quickly became involved with SynGAP Research Fund and have enjoyed connecting with other families from all around the world. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the nearby Blue Ridge Mountains, reading and volunteering.
